    Studies in Assyriology, general linguistics and Semitic and Arabaic studies at the University of Helsinki and the Free University of Berlin (1997–1998).

    Research associate in the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft-funded research project “Corpus of Mesopotamian Anti-witchcraft Rituals” (directed by Prof. Dr. Daniel Schwemer), Lehrstuhl für Altorientalistik, Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg.

    Research associate in the Arts &Humanities Research Council-funded research project “Mechanisms of Communication in an Ancient Empire: The Correspondence between the King of Assyria and his Magnates in the 8th Century BC” (directed by Prof. Karen Radner), History Department, University College London.
